Aloha, I’m Dylan.
I’m a photographer and content creator originally from Oʻahu and now based in Portland, Oregon. I work with brands, organizations, events, and couples to create bold, natural imagery that brings people back to the experience.
My background in social media and marketing shapes how I approach every project. I don’t just consider whether an image looks good—I think about what it needs to communicate, where it will be shared, and how it can continue working after the shoot is over.
My Catholic faith is an important part of who I am. It has also given me a particular understanding of Catholic weddings, ministries, and sacred events—knowing when to offer direction, when to remain unobtrusive, and how to document meaningful moments with reverence.
Why Paniolo?
Hawaiʻi’s paniolo were innovators. They learned from the vaqueros who brought their traditions to the islands, adapted those skills to Hawaiʻi, and created a culture distinctly their own.
That spirit of respect, resourcefulness, and adaptation inspires Paniolo Media Co. I pull from different creative disciplines, adjust to the people and environment in front of me, and create work that feels intentional without losing what made the moment real.
